What is kept
While the session is running
Everything that happens in the room right now (who is at the table, the cards, the sticky notes) lives only for as long as the room does. When you delete the room, it is gone.
After each reveal
Each time a task is revealed, the round is saved so you can look at it later, even after the session is over. The history keeps:
- the round: how many people voted, the lowest and highest vote, the average, the median and whether the team agreed;
- every vote, with the name of the person who cast it, whether they were signed in or joined as a guest;
- everyone who took part in the room, whether they voted or only watched.
Votes are only saved after the reveal, because until then they are secret. If a round cannot be saved for any reason, the session carries on normally and that round simply does not appear in the history.
Who sees the names
Names are saved for everyone, but only people who manage planning poker in your organization can see them. In the history, the votes file and the dashboard, everybody else sees "Player 1", "Player 2" and so on. The same goes for the authors of retro notes.
Deleting
When you delete a room, its tasks, rounds, votes, players and retro are all deleted with it.
