Results and estimates

After the reveal

When the host reveals, the room shows the votes together with:

  • the average and the median;
  • the distribution, how many people chose each card;
  • how much the team agrees, and whether the vote was unanimous.

Vote again

If the votes are far apart, let the highest and lowest explain their reasoning and choose Vote again. A new round starts and the earlier one stays in the history.

Accept the estimate

The host chooses the final value, usually the one the team converges on, and accepts it. It is saved on the task, and, if the task came from Jira, Linear or ClickUp, it can be sent back.

History

Every room has a history page with the totals, the distribution of final estimates, each round with its votes, and the retrospective if there was one. Rounds are saved when a task is revealed, so the history does not depend on the live session.

Names of the people who voted are shown only to people who manage planning poker in your organization. Everyone else sees "Player 1", "Player 2" and so on. More in What is kept.
