Free planning poker for agile teams
Planning Poker Web is free. Every feature is included, there is no paid tier, and there are no caps on votes, tasks or rooms. Your teammates join from a link without creating an account, so a session takes about a minute to start.
No credit card. Guests need no account.
Everything is included, with no caps
All of it is free, whether your team calls it planning poker, scrum poker or pointing poker. There is no paid version holding back the useful parts.
Live and async planning poker
Vote together on a call, or on your own time before a deadline.
Your own decks
Fibonacci, modified Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, powers of 2, or a custom deck.
Guests join from a link
No account and no install. They type a name and vote.
Votes hidden until the reveal
Nobody anchors on the first number that gets said.
Retrospective board
In the same room, with action items tracked sprint after sprint.
Jira, Linear and ClickUp
Connect with OAuth, import tasks and send the accepted estimate back.
History, roles and export
Look back at past rounds, manage your team and export the results.
What "free" means here
Most free planning poker tools stop being free at some point in a sprint. Here is exactly what free means for us.
| Price | $0, one plan, everything included |
| Limits on votes, tasks or rooms | None |
| Credit card | Never asked |
| Ads | None |
| Who needs an account | Only the person hosting the room (free). Guests do not. |
The one real requirement is that whoever creates the room signs up, so the room, its history and your integrations have an owner. Everyone else just opens the link.
How free planning poker tools compare
Free plans as described on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026. Check their sites for the current terms.
| Tool | What the free plan includes | Where it stops being free |
|---|---|---|
| Planning Poker Web | Everything, no caps | It does not |
| Planning Poker Online | Unlimited players | 9 votings and 5 voted issues per game; free players are blocked after 6 weeks. Premium is $30 per facilitator a month. |
| PlanningPoker.com | Players join free | Organizers pay; Standard is $14.95 a month for up to 10 players. |
| Pointing Poker | Everything, no account needed | It never charges; the site is funded by ads shown to users. |
| Parabol | Up to 2 teams and 10 meetings a month | 30-day history; the paid plan is $8 per active user a month; everyone needs an account. |
Several of these tools are good. The point is that free often means a trial with limits, and it is worth knowing where the limits are before your team depends on a tool.
Start in three steps
Create a room
Pick a deck: Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes or your own.
Share the link
Your team joins from the link, with no account.
Vote and reveal together
Discuss the outliers and accept the estimate.

Jira, Linear and ClickUp, connected with OAuth
Bring your backlog into the room and send the agreed estimate back to the issue, without copying anything by hand.
Connect in one click
Sign in with OAuth on the tool's own screen, approve access and come back. Nothing to copy. An API token works too, if you prefer.
Jira Cloud
Import by project, sprint, epic, issue type or status. The accepted estimate goes to Story point estimate or any number field you choose.
Linear
Import by team, cycle or status. The estimate is written to Linear's native Estimate field (whole numbers).
ClickUp
Import from any workspace, space, folder or list. The estimate goes to Sprint Points or a custom number field.
Why teams pick it for Jira: planning poker for Jira, with no install. Step by step: planning poker with Jira, and connecting and importing tasks.
Security and privacy
Connecting your tools means trusting us with access to your backlog. Here is exactly how that access and your team's data are handled.
OAuth with a one-time check
You connect through the tool's own sign-in. A single-use check on the way back stops anyone else from completing the connection.
Only the access it needs
We ask each tool only for access to read and update issues, which is what import and send-back need. You approve it on the tool's own screen.
Keys encrypted at rest
OAuth tokens and API keys are stored encrypted. They are never shown again and never sent back to the browser.
You decide who connects
Only people allowed to manage planning poker in your organization can connect or disconnect a tool, and you can disconnect at any time.
Votes stay secret until the reveal
Votes are hidden by the server, not just blurred on screen. The room link alone shows nothing: people have to join to see the tasks.
Only what is needed is copied
From each issue we copy the title, the reference, a link and a short teaser. Deleting a room deletes its tasks, votes and history.
More detail in what we keep and who can see a room.
Built for remote and async teams
Teams across time zones can vote asynchronously against a deadline and discuss only the items where votes diverged. See planning poker for remote teams.
Frequently asked questions
Is Planning Poker Web really free?
Yes. There is one plan, it costs nothing, and every feature on the site is included. There are no limits on votes, tasks or rooms, and no ads.
Will it stay free?
Yes. Planning Poker Web is free and will stay free, with no ads and no credit card.
Is this a scrum poker or pointing poker tool too?
Yes. Planning poker, scrum poker and pointing poker are names for the same technique: everyone votes privately, the cards are revealed together and the team discusses the differences. Planning Poker Web covers it in full, live or async.
Do my teammates need an account?
No. Only the person who hosts the room creates a free account. Everyone else opens the link, types a name and votes.
Do you ask for a credit card?
No. We never ask for payment details.
Is there a limit on players, votes or tasks?
No. There are no caps on the number of people, voting rounds, tasks or rooms.
Are the Jira, Linear and ClickUp integrations free too?
Yes. Importing tasks and sending the accepted estimate back is included at no cost.
Is it safe to connect Jira, Linear or ClickUp?
Yes. You connect with OAuth on the tool's own sign-in screen, we only ask for access to read and update issues, access keys are encrypted at rest and never shown again, and you can disconnect at any time.
Can we use it for async estimation?
Yes. Set a voting deadline, let people vote on their own time, then reveal and discuss only where votes diverged.
What is the catch?
There is no paid tier holding back features. The only requirement is that whoever creates a room has a free account, so the room and its history have an owner.
