Who can see a room

The link alone shows nothing

Having the link is not enough to read what is inside a room. People have to join it first, and only then can they see the tasks, who is at the table and the retro board. Before joining, a visitor sees just the name of the room and its deck.

Votes stay secret

Nobody can see anybody else's vote until the host reveals the task, not even by looking behind the screen. Retro notes work the same way: their text stays hidden from everyone but its author (and the host and moderators) until the host reveals them.

Lock the room

The host (not a moderator) can lock the room from the room header. While it is locked, nobody new can join. The people already at the table stay and can come back if they refresh the page. Unlock it whenever you want; nothing ends.

Remove someone

The host can remove a player from the table. They can no longer vote or write, and cannot come back, while their earlier votes stay in the history.

Deadlines cannot be cheated

In async rooms, the deadline is counted by our own clock, not the one on your device. Changing the time on your computer or phone does not let anybody vote late.
