The board

Every room has a retrospective board. Use the Poker / Retro switch in the room header to move between the two. The choice is yours only: you can be on the board while the host is still estimating.

Zones and notes

The board has three zones: Went well, To improve and Action items. Anyone in the room, guests included, can add a sticky note, edit its text, change its colour, drag it around or delete their own.

Always open

Anyone can add a note at any time during the sprint, so the important points are written down when they happen and nothing is forgotten by the time of the retrospective. The board stays available for as long as the room does.

Hidden until you decide

While the host keeps the eye closed, other people's notes appear blurred, so nobody is influenced by what was written before. You always read your own notes; the host and moderators read all of them. When the host opens the eye, everyone sees everything. The text is truly kept from other people, not just blurred on screen.

Live cursors

You can see where others are pointing. A cursor disappears after five seconds without moving, so an idle board stays quiet.
